My name is Sky Chandler, and I am an illustrator and designer currently attending the Ringling College of Art and Design located in Sarasota, Florida. Wrapping up my senior year as an illustration major, I am primarily focused on creating whimsical illustrations full of texture and fun and organic patterns. I am also beginning to work on my senior thesis children's book titled With Me, a heartfelt adventure story.
Believing that one of the most special gifts that we have on this earth is the power of storytelling, I enjoy creating artwork that blends my love for sharing stories with nature, nostalgia, and a little bit of magic.
I want my work to remind viewers to seek out magic in the mundane and to find beauty in the simple moments. Never let that childlike wonder go, and never stop believing that there just could be fairies in your backyard.
When I’m not illustrating, you can find me camped out in a coffee shop, searching for seashells, or reading outside.
